Level Gimel
Morning
Level Gimel is the first of the intermediary levels. The purpose of this level is to deepen and add layers to the base acquired in Levels Alef and Bet. The vocabulary is more extensive, the texts are longer, and complex and higher knowledge the verb system and grammar are augmented. In addition, discussions are held on various issues. By the end of this level the students will know how to speak, write and read more freely and actively, and will gain greater confidence in their Hebrew language usage skills. The books used in this level are Verbs in Transition (focuses on the verb system) and Intermediate Hebrew (focuses on texts and grammar). According to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) the students will reach proficiency Level B1.
